    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Ic.2ADI/1711 Message Board Post: I have been told that a Luther Judson GLENN was allegedly born in Greene County ca 1818, and that his parents were a Thomas GLENN and Mary TUTHILL. Could someone check the 1820 + census (es) for any GLENNs or TUTHILLs ? This Thomas GLENN may have been, I stress MAY have been, the son of a Duke GLENN who left a will in Greene County 1788; or possibly, Thomas MAY have been Duke's brother William's son. ANY assistance very much appreciated on these families.( siblings, antecedents, relatives) Josephine

    3. I can tell you this. Arthur FOSTER, Jr. RS-VA (1757-1846) married (1st) an Elizabeth GLENN of Southampton County, VA on 12 Feb 1790 in Greene County, GA. Arthur was from Halifax County, VA and he later married Hannah JOHNSON BEF 1810, so Elizabeth GLENN must have died before then. My interest is in his children by Hannah JOHNSON because two of them end up in Morgan County, GA in a later time frame -- Judge Nathaniel Greene FOSTER, Esq. and Col. Albert Gallatin FOSTER, Esq. of Madison, GA. This Southampton County, VA return address may be a link to your GLENNS. John R.
