Looking for information that would confirm that John J. Fillingim and Jarvis J. Fillingim are sons of Moses and Nancy Fillingim. Moses and Nancy were married in Warren County Georgia in 1803. Moses was living in Greene County when he won land in the 1807 Land Lottery in Wilkinson (later Twiggs) County Georgia. According to a history of Twiggs County, Moses lived in Greene County until at least September 1813. According to the 1850 census for Baker County Georgia, John was born in Greene County about 1804. Jarvis was born about 1812 and was first enumerated in the 1850 census in Randolph County with his wife Elizabeth Bonner. Jarvis is my GG-grandfather. Moses was in Houston County in 1830 and Randolph County in 1840. Thanks, Bill Fillingim
