Good Morning, Was Peter MALONE related to Robert MALONE (1793-1838) of Augusta? Robert married a Nancy RUTHERFORD and they are buried in the Malone Cemetery, Richmond Co, GA. My notes on Robert are below. His children tie into some collateral families, including the EVANS, VARNER, PIERCE, HILL and MONGIN. As for your CROSS information, I have an Isaac CROSS (1780-1849) of Emanuel County, GA, son of Stephen CROSS, who married an Elizabeth, and their children tie into the GREEN and SPIVEY families of Emanuel County, GA. <<< Robert MALONE merchandised in both Augusta and Savannah and in the 1830's he built a summer home in Brothersville (Hephzibah) which became his family's permanent home after his death. >> John R.
