Edward Augustus Metcalfe, 22 May 1851, Greensboro, GA NOTE: Edward and Euphrasia were married 22 May 1851 at the home of Euphrasia's uncle, Judge William C. Dawson. Some time after the marriage, they moved to Texas, first to Brenham and later to Hempstead. Edward was a doctor; he studied both allopathy and homeopathy so that he could earn a living drawing on both approaches.
