Peek born 1801 Ga married 18 Mar 1830 Greene Jane Adaline McMichael born bef 1805 and died bef Aug. 1838. She was the dtr. of my ancestors James McMichael b a 1783 d bef 10 Jul 1816 Jasper and Margaret Ann "Peggy" (Nelson?) born 20 Jul 1787 NC died 22 Feb 1856 Greene Co. (Margaret's second husband was William Armour) This couple had Elizabeth 1832 and Adeline V 1837. ----- The first John Comer Peake (Peck-Peek) I show born 1744 and died 1816 he married Tabitha "Polly" born 1748 and is shown the child of Robert Peake and Elizabeth Ann Comer, dtr. of John & Elizabeth Ann Anice. John Sr. had John Comer Jr. born Feb. 1774 died bef 1816 married Mary "Polly" Champion. (He had 7 known children by her-- a John M, but not John Comer) John & Tabitha had Robert married Martha Little, had Littleberry married Elizabeth Williams had the only other John Comer I have on file.He was born 14 Sept.1834 and died 6 Jul . 1877 married 15 Dec 1859 Caroline R. "Carrie" Matthewson 1835-1897. (By the way, I used to do "Gerry's Corner" on the US Gen Web Greene Co. page.) Woods- The only one is have is Peter Riley's wife Elizabeth born a 1775 NC married 21 Jul. 1795 Orange Co NC, died a 1830 Greene.. She was child of John Woods of Ireland born 1720 died 1808 Orange and Ann Lovey Mebane 1730-Feb 1821. About the only other Woods I show are NC ones..Edgecombe being the prominent area. Gerry
