But, the family record that I have only mentioned Elizabeth (Edmundson) Garlington and her husband Thomas Crawley Garlington. I also have that they were shown in the 1850 Census, Chambers Co. AL. in the 19th district. I also have a record that shows when Thomas' father, Joseph died and his mother, Nancy H. High died their estate was divided between the children. Thomas received Gus (a negro). The worth of this man is stated to be $875.00 And he also purchased Pat for $1205.00 I also show that Thomas and Elizabeth had 5 children.
