JOHN & ELIZABETH SMITH had a daughter JANE ( JEAN ) , she died ca. 1793 LINCOLN CO. TENN. m/ THOMAS PHELPS , he died ca. 1793 ROWEN CO. N.C. JANE was said to have moved to TENN. after the death of her husband, lived with son BRITTIAN PHELPS. JANE & THOMAS had these known children, ABNER JR., FERBY m/ NED WILLIAMS, JOHN , JEAN m/ FRANK WILLIAMS, EDDIE m/ OWEN NORMAN, THOMAS, KEELING, EZEKIEL SR. , SAMUEL, BRITTIAN m/ SUSANNA WAGGONER.
