I know that he was a descendant of English-Scottish immigrants who came to the US sometime before the Revolutionary War and settled in GA. William served in the patriot army and then settled in Green Co. He had 4 children: Nathan, Absalom, Elizabeth (Odom) and Susie. William died in Wilkinson Co. in 1833 or 1834. William was married to a Mary, but I don't know her maiden name. If anyone has any info on any of the above, especially on Mary's maiden name, please respond to this post. Thanks!
