I would like any info on Goodwin or similar spellings. My James Goodwin said he was born in VA about 1790. He married Rebecca White and before that an Elizabeth. Ended up in Walton Co. Well, I did not see your "blanket" query=but I have the Goodwin's in Va...-and there are two bunches in Ga.... I think some wound up in Hancock-from mine- which was an offspring of Greene.
