He married Martha RAY on Nov. 18,1841 in Muscogee Co., GA. She was b.July 9, 1819 in Lincoln Co. GA. and died Aug. 7,1898 in Fayette Co. TX. He died in route to Texas with his wife, Martha, and 4 children: Larcena "Sis" Laura, William, Robert and Emma (Emily). They were traviling with her brothers and sisters. He is thought to have been buried in or near Montgomery, AL. Her father was Wilson RAY who was known to be in Fayette Co., TX. in 1857. At least one of the children was born in Stewart Co., GA. She and many other family members are buried in The Harris Family Cemetery on private property in Fayette CO., TX. All information is welcome. I have info on these lines from the dates shown forward.
