Nancy Akins was named as a daughter in the will of Anthony Ivey on 12 Dec 1807 in Greene County, Georgia. James Akin left a will on 15 Jun 1820 in Greene County, Georgia. James names: Wife, Nancy, and children: John, Elijah, Sallah, Temperance, Elisha, Jacob, Edmond, James [Jr.] and Mary. John Akin, Aziel Bruce and Nancy Akin are executors. Nancy Akins was widowed by the death of her spouse James Akins in Jun 1820. Nancy Akins appeared on the 1820 US Census (1707) in Capt Austin's Dist., Greene County, Georgia. The official date for this census was August 7, 1820. this household included six males, 3 under 10, 2 of 10 under 16 and 1 of 18 under 26, and four females, 2 of under 10 and 1 each of 10 under 16 and of 26 under 45.
