I would be extremely interested in finding out if LTC Love's will mentions any GLENNs. A long time ago I had information that he assisted a Duke GLenn's wife, Ann ,with her affairs after the death of Duke - I always wondered if they were somehow related - slim chance, I know. The Glenns had lived in Anson County, NC also - sold land there before moving to Georgia. Duke left will in Greene County, 1788 - but he and Ann attended a church in what is now hancock County. They owned land in Washington County- I am not sure why the will was recorded in greene County, too. Duke was a C aptain in the Revolutionary War, probably from Anson County, and quite probably was a neighbor of, and served with, LTC Love. So that is probably why he helped Duke's widow. Any assistance so very much appreciated ! Duke's brother William apparently lived in Greene County, also - does anyone have any info on him ? Josephine ( jcritt824@yahoo.com)
