I don't see a "hit" with these Smith grooms at this time, BUT the Creytin SHAW being in Greene Co in 1870 just about puts the ! to my GG-grandma Mary Elizabeth [Shaw] Smith being the daughter of Robert Washington SHAW and Martha [ASHLEY] (they were 1850 Elbert Co Ga, 1860 until death Cherokee Co Al) as Craton Shaw is a family name! Well, shucks!!! The marriage list is by groom only? Anyplace you know of (library, Gen Soc, etc, etc) where I might find the marriages of Sarah Jane Smith, Ruth Catherine Smith, Susan Frances Smith between 1870-1877 ???
