Surnames: Bennett Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Ic.2ADI/1250 Message Board Post: Hi, My gg grandfather was Reuben Bennett, he was married to Sarah Forrester first and then Elizabeth Mitchell both in the 1840's in Greene County, GA. Reuben was born in 1825 in either Wilkes or Greene County Georgia. We have never had much luck tracing past Reuben but have recently found that he was a member of Bethesda Baptist in Greene County in 1845. I know that this church is situated in what was Wilkes County and wonder if my Bennett line might be related to your Bennett line. Any information would be appreciated. Best, David Bennett
