Surnames: ROBERTS, MUSGROVE, PUCKETT Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Ic.2ADI/1755 Message Board Post: I found info that states that Isaac & Jane Glen (Musgrove) Roberts had a child, Francis E. Roberts. My Frances Roberts was b 1816, marr Andrew Jackson Puckett in 1837 & lived in Coweta Co. In one census she is listed "Francie E." Could anyone tell me anything about this "child" of Isaac & Jane? Male or female or anything else? I haven't been able to find my Frances (Roberts) Puckett anywhere. She d in 1908, also lived in Cherokee Co. AL & some of her children went to TX & LA. Thanks for any help.

Isaac Roberts children- except for two boys in 1850 census- are ALL SPECULATION- including mine.. The only Almost for sure one is Mary Magdalele and that is iffy- He was guardian for her one child when first husband died. There is a Cannon Bible, and several Roberts married Cannon's but one genealogist says her family bible-says the two bunches-were not kin- but not which is which. This Particular Frances E I put down as a speculative child because she married in Meriwether Co. Ga.-as most of the others- and 1843 to William Avery... I did check out the other Roberts, as best I could in the county at the same time- but have never claimed they were proven, though I paid a professional $500- and all he sent me was what I had sent him-in my original letter- census records- too early to be proof before 1850- and the marriages. The Cannon Bible still exist-so they were definately in that family together-moved together etc. but Parents are not proven.
