If so, do you know if there was any connection with your Reuben Phillips to Pleasant L Phillips (born @ 1824) from Anson Co. N C who was in Lincoln Parish at this time. He had a blacksmith shop in the town of Vienna and acquired land. He was in Vienna until about 1879. Do not know if Pleasant Phillips stopped off in Georgia or Alabama on his journey from Anson Co N C to LA
