Surnames: Park/Parks of Greene and Morgan Counties Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Ic.2ADI/1179 Message Board Post: Using the FHC cd's of 1880 census, I found my great grandfather Fed Park and his children: Lewis, Neal, Virginia, Fed, Salina, and Edmond (my grandfather b. 1874). There are many other Park surnames living nearby: some white, some mulatto, and some black. Any clue who is connected to whom? Might some of these Park folks be siblings to my great-grandfather? Which ones?! I found no trace of Fed and children in the 1870 GA census. Any chance they might have been overlooked? At some point my grandfather Edmond moved to Madison GA as did some of his sibs. By then he had changed his surname to Parks. Can you shed some light? Help me with this mystery? Thanks.
