    3. Does anyone have access to the 1830 Greene Census?? I am trying to find out who Rebecca Baldwin might be kin to. She married William Jones on 19 July 1832 and tracking them is nigh to impossible. If someone could lookup 3 Baldwins in the 1830 Census and see if any of them had marriage age females by 1832, it would be a great help. They are Nancy Baldwin on pg 283, Samuel Baldwin on pg 287 and Cyrus Baldwin on pg 296. They are the only 3 Baldwins that I find listed in 1830. If someone can help, I will greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance...C B Jones, Melbourne FL [email protected]

    1. [Greene] New format for Greene Co Archives
    2. Crilley
    3. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ga/greene.htm The Greene County Archives page has a new format. Now it just needs more data from all of you! Take a peek, and then look through your own files to see if you have something to share. Greene Co is one of those "older" counties---so there should be lots more deeds, Bible records, wills available for researchers. Sometimes you will find land deeds in other counties if the individual selling the Greene County land had moved and did the land transaction from a distance. If it deals with land in Greene County, then we need it on-line in Greene County. While other counties were still just wilderness and Indian Territory, Greene County was already active---1786! There should be lots of Revolutionary War veterans living there.....anybody have any Pension information?? This is the companion page to Laura's Green County page. http://www.rootsweb.com/~gagreene/ (The archives data is always posted in simple text format and has a powerful search engine. This enables people to locate surnames listed in military rosters or cemeteries from any county in Georgia.) Virginia Crilley

    1. [Greene] Park or Parks
    2. Hi, I hope you can help me. I found my great grandfather, Fed Park, in the 1880 Greene County, GA census (ED 37, Dist. 161, Greene, GA Page 279A) along with his children . It was on the cd's provided by the Church Of Jesus Christ. It doesn't say what town they were living in, and my great grandfather is listed as widowed. I tried locating him in the 1870 census, in the hopes of finding my great grandmother's identity, but was unsuccessful. I want to know the town they were living in and my great grandmother's name. Curiously, there were many other Park families living nearby. I assume that some of them may have been brothers of my great grandfather but I don't know how to verify that, given that some are white, some black and some mulatto. Starting with the ones who live in the same E. D. (37) and District (161) seems to make sense. If so, then I'd make a stab at Nelson S. Park as perhaps my gggf and Nelson J. Park, Sterling Park, and Willis Park as Fed's brothers? Was Polly Park a sister-in law? My gggf could just have easily been Cyrus Park, a 60 y/o mulatto fisherman. How do I tell? 70 y/o Columbus Park, a white physician and his family, including son (?) Thomas in another household, also live in the same District. In Dist. 160 lives Albert Park, Dist 162 lives Goliath Park, and Dist. 163 Emmanuel Park. I'm told there was something called Park's Mill Road, that's all I know. Is it in Greene County? I hope this isn't too confusing and that you can help me. Thank you so much. Marie
