Here is the reason why I would like some information. I have an ancestor Robert CONINE with whom I've hit a wall. I am thinking perhaps some information regarding Joseph JACKSON might help with my Robert CONINE. I found a document dated 1797 Greene Co. GA., this document is an inventory of the estate of James MAXWELL. Appraisers-Joseph JACKSON, John DUNN, Robert CONINE, Charles CESSNA. John LISTER, and John PYLE applied for letters of admin. on the estate of James MAXWELL decd. 4 Dec. 1797. Letters granted. Also I ran across a deed dated 4 Jan. 1796. John DUNN of Greene Co. to Joseph JACKSON of Greene Co. I would like to know where Joseph JACKSON came from before coming to GA., does anyone know? Does anyone recognize any of the above mentioned names? Does anyone know who Joseph JACKSON was married to? I would really appreciate anything anyone can tell me about this Joseph JACKSON. One never knows, what might seem insignificant to one researcher might be the answer some other researcher is looking for. I can't figure out why my Robert CONINE would put up a large sum of money as surety for this estate unless these people are related in some way. The Joseph JACKSON I'm referring to is not the Joseph JACKSON born in 1792, perhaps your Joseph is the son of the Joseph JACKSON in the documents I refer to. Thanks for the help, SHEILA
