Hi, I have a favor to ask of you having an easy access to Ellijay's library to look at marriage records for me. If you do that, I will be forever grateful! Here's my dilemma: 1. "The Hertiage of Gilmer County, Gilmer County, GA 1832-1996" On pg. 385, I read that Decatur Teague (b.1842) married Artimincy Adaline Ross on August 18, 1860. They had a daughter named Jenny. 2. Here's what I found in the 1870 GA (Gilmer) Census: Cloniger, George (age 59) NC Arty M (age 27) GA children: Huldah (age 4) GA Arty M (age 2) GA George M. (age 4/12) Teague, Jenny (age 7) QUESTION #1: Is Artimincy Adaline Ross and Arty M (age 27) one and the same? George's 1st wife (Elizabeth) died on 7 Jun 1865. Someone who checked the marriage records found that George Cloninger married Arluncy Adaline Logan on 17 May 1866. QUESTION #2: Is Artimincy Adaline Ross, Artimincy Adaline Teague and Arluncy Adaline Logan one and the same? QUESTION #3: Did Arty marry 3 times? 1. to Decatur Teague 2. to ?
