To all, I am looking for anyone in families named PARRIS and/or TUCKER. Robert PARRIS married Lovina Tucker in Gilmer County in 1842. Robert died in January 1864, and Lovina 6 months later, but we don't know where they are buried. We believe they came to Gilmer from S.C. They had children: Theresa (Teresa, Treacy) Jemima b.1844, James Nathaniel b.1849, Robert Lee, Jr. b.1853, Nathan Haswell b. 1856, Martha Susan (Mattie) b. 1858, and Alford Adolphus b. 1861. I'm quite anxious to find the parents of both Robert Parris and Lovina Tucker. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much. Sandy C.
