Apparently when Cassandra Newby sent the 1850 census to Virginia Crilley (who is the state coordinator for the GAGenWeb Archives Project), Virginia wasn't able to download the whole file, although she didn't realize it at the time. It was only after she sent it to me and the census was put online that anyone realized the whole thing wasn't there. Cassandra sent Virginia a new file, which I'll be putting online on a page-by-page basis. When the whole thing is up, I'll announce it here. The first part will remain available while I'm working on the rest of it: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ga/gilmer/census.html I apologize to everyone for not letting y'all know what was going on last week when Cassandra sent us the corrected file. My son and I have both been sick with the winter-blahs, which has slowed my work down considerably. Thanks for your patience.
