PLEASE MARK THIS ON YOUR CALENDAR JUNE 1st & 2nd SATURDAY & SUNDAY 2002 RUSH SPRINGS, OKLAHOMA AT THE PAVILLION IN THE CITY PARK 8: AM - 5: PM EACH DAY. ALL CAST / WALKER / HUMPHREY / HEATLEY DESCENDANTS & RELATED FAMILIES ARE WELCOME & URGED TO ATTEND. SOME OF THE THINGS TO BRING ........ Family genealogy files, Books, Pictures, Bibles, & any information you might have with zerox copies for handouts. Ice chest & drinks. Chair &/or pallet to sit on. Some of our Cast families settled in Oklahoma, lived, raised their children & died there. Some of our Walker families settled in Georgia. Some of our Humphrey families settled in & around the Pennsylvania & Maryland border then migrated on to North Carolina & then some moved on to Georgia. Now we are scattered all over the USA. Family reunions are a great thing. It gives us all the opportunity to converge into one place where we can exchange genealogical information, pictures, stories & have a wonderful time meeting, sitting down & talking face to face with each other. Getting acquainted. There will be Doughnuts & sticky buns with plenty of hot coffee & cold milk for breakfast Saturday morning. We request that you bring a covered dish to share for lunch Saturday. If that is not possible then you might pick up something at a fast food place. Please, let's try not all bring potato salad and pork & beans but don't forget the dessert. [grin]. Sunday morning there will be coffee to go with anything you might like to bring for your family & eat at the park. For Sunday lunch you're on your own. There is no charge except there will be a container for donations in order to defray some of the expenses. PLEASE, LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO ATTEND THE REUNION SO WE WILL HAVE SOME SORT OF A HEAD COUNT. We need this information in order to make certain we have enough coffee, snacks etc. We also will be better prepared to assist you. We are still working on a program. If any of you would like to give us a presentation concerning your family research or entertain us with your musical talents or some other interest you have please don't be shy. I will put you on our program. There will be a special board for mystery pictures. If you have a picture that you would like to know something about you might have some luck. It's very important to make reservations as soon as possible to insure you will have a place to stay. There will be more information to follow. I'm looking forward to meeting you all at the reunion.
