    3. I have census information and descendants on the other siblings of Preshus Carter Felmet. The only one I cannot find descendants on is Martha "Patsy" Carter Southerland. I have lots of Felmet info, and should anyone need it, will be happy to share. There has been some debate among researchers of Nathaniel Felmet as to whether Preshus and Mannerva were the same person. I think the dual census in Gilmer and Floyd Counties has put that to rest. There is also a question of an Edith Wood. George W. Felmet, born in Gilmer County, a son of Nathaniel's and Preshus Felmet, has a death certificate in Fannin County, Texas, which lists Edith Wood as the mother. I think the son of George's who gave the information just didn't know the facts, or gave as best he knew. Hoever, other researchers are insisting that ther was another wife. The 1850 Gloyd/Gilmer Census for Preshus/Mannerva, and the 1860 census for Mannerva should lay this to rest. If in your looking around, you were to find a date of death, place of burial for Preshus, I would be eternally grateful. Our family legend is that she died while Nathaniel was away during the Civil War. Thanking you for all you have done.
