    3. My theory: Nathaniel Green or "Green" is a farmer in the Gilmer County census, and farm labor in the Floyd County census. I think he worked his farm and also hired out. The census taker might have cought him in one spot, probably Gilmer, and took information. In the other spot, the census taker might have said "who lives in that house" and wrote down the information. I 've thought for a while now that, when some of my ancestors seemed to have avoided the census taker at all costs, old Nathaniel got recorded twice! lol.
