Would some one look in their cemetery books and see if there is a Silas V Gates and Amanda Minerva (Banks) Gates listed any where. Silas Valentine (Bud) Gates was born abt 1846 Amanda Minerva born abbt 1842 could have died abot 1913 Silas Valentine the third was son of Silas Valentine Gates Jr, son of Silas V. Sr. All from the Gilmer area. Silas Jr. and most of his younger family went to Searcy Co. Ark after the civil war. Thanks Marcene
