    3. Thanks to all who responded to my query for info on Walter and Violet. Thanks especially to Anita and Glenda who sent cemetery listings. This Walter sure seems to be the right one; at least dates match. The question now is where is Violet? Surely if she died in Ellijay, she should have been buried with her husband.     3. Jack, Violet may be buried in the same cemetery. Many people are buried without tombstones in those cemeteries. Some may have had markers, but were soft rock, wood, or a funeral home marker that has disintegrated. Check the Social Security Death Index, and write to the funeral homes in the county.
