Help please, I am looking for any information on Francis J./ Frank Watkins b. March 1841 in S.C. I can't find anything on him in S.C. and I think I found him in Pickens Co. in 1870 and I know he and his family was in Gilmer Co. in 1880 census ( But what I would like to know is what was his Father and Mothers name? where in S.C. did they come from and did he have any brothers and sister?) if anybody there in Gilmer Co. has any information I would loveto hear from you. Thank all of you that have tried to helped me. I believe there is a huge brick wall in that area of the Georgia,and South Carolina line. Francis/ Frank married Martha Ann Teem daughter of Martin Israel and Jemima Allen.. Martha A. was b. April 1843 in Ellijay, Gilmer Co; Georgia. Thank You, Lois
