Tim: I can tell you that the Mount Zion Baptist Church is still active. I know nothing about their Church Records, but I can refer you to one who has been active in the church for many years, and might be of some help to you. He is: Howard Holt, 1860 Mount Zion Road, Ellijay, Georgia 30536. Virginia: I live in Gilmer and am somewhat familiar with its Churches. I do not know of a Yellow Creek Baptist Church. Neither do I know of a Yellow Creek being in Gilmer. Please do not take this to be the final answer to your inquiry, but I pass this along to alert you to the possibility that something is awry with your data. I will mention to you that there is a Lick Log Community. This is likely what was intended in your reference to the Lie Log Community.
