Bishop is in the George Gordon Ward Book called the Annuals of Upper Georgia. L. E. Bishop born about 1872 died in 1940 married Lura Greer, was the son of Alfred Bishop. He had two sons Lafayette and "Boy". Other Bishops mentioned only by first initials. Mrs. A. Bishop died in 1913, mother of L.L, L.E, W.C, and Dr. A.J. Bishop and two daughters. There are no mention of Batson or Carnes in the Gilmer books. Leslie
