His daughter is working on the possiblility of having his books republished and is talking with the Gilmer Genealogy Society. Stanley wrote several books about the Gilmer County area over his lifetime. George Gordon Ward also wrote a book called the ANNUALS OF UPPER GEORGIA centered on Gilmer County. This book is also out of print, but I have a copy if anyone needs a look up on a particular surname.
Would you have anything on the surname Robertson? My gg grandfather is suppose to be buried around Ellijay. Joseph Shelton Robertson/Roberson/Robinson b. 10 May 1818, d. 22 Apr 1878. I have them in Gordon Co. 1850-1870.
