Teri- If I can believe my family tree software, your Samuel Tate Jones is my grand-uncle, the brother of my grandfather, Alfred Hines Jones. Alfred Hines left Boone county sometime after the 1910 census for Washington State where all his offspring eventually settled. I have found at least four individuals on the web with published Jones ancestry, all basically the same but one in particular that I am using as the basis for all my data. This database expands both the Jones and Tate lines and was obviously well researched but just how accurate it all is will be determined by others but not in my lifetime I am sure. I would be happy to share what I have with you. I have one very precious photo of Samuel Tate Jones, taken in Boone County in the latter stages of his life that you probably would enjoy having. It was found in an old suitcase of family photos after my father died. What exactly is your connection to Samuel ?
