In the 1860 census, there is a listing of the following family: 8 August 1860 L 20 1036-905 Mulky, David 36 M Farmer 300/200 GA Nancy 34 F TENN NO Sarah E. 13 F School Tenn Ester B. 11 F School Tenn John A. 9 M School Tenn Asberry C. 8 M School GA James W. 6 M GA Lewis G. 5 M GA Washington C. 3 M GA Nancy J. 1 F GA *Elizabeth 35 F GA NO There is also the following family a few doors away: L 6 1031-902 MULKY, John E. 66 M Farmer /20 SC NO Ester 68 F GA NO William 45 M Farmer /100 GA NO On the 1850 Gilmer census in the James C. Mulkey family, there is a Sarah E., and she is 12y born GA.     3. In the 1860 Gilmer Co., GA census there is a Henry L. McEntire, 35y farmer, NC. He is listed with wife Mary McEntire, 31y, GA. children: Elizabeth 11y, Thomas A. 9y, Arena 7y, Manerva 4y, John H. 1y, all children born GA. McEntire was also spelled differently in the 1850 census: McAntire McAutire There is a Henry age 3, b. GA in the #677 John and Sarah McAutire household................ Miller Gaddis and Nancy Susan Ratcliff, married Nov. 28, 1891, in Gilmer Co., Ga. <<we have seen her name as Nancy and then as Susan, also>> We have found then in Gilmer Co., in 1900, but we need a look up of the 1910 census to see it they were still there.     3. Does any one have any information on a Sarah Annie Gladden married to a Lewis Hubbard Hilliard Gaddis. They might have called her Annie, I have found the name both ways. She was born about in the 1830's in Tennessee, but was in Lumpkin Co., and in Gilmer Co;, Ga in the 1880's. Also some names of the Gladdens are in the Cherokee Co., Alabama Heritage Book, I have not found the book yet, in case any one has one. Any help with any names Peggy

William Wesley Dockery, born in 1851, not sure where, and died in 1932 in Ellijay, Gilmer Co., Ga, he and his wife Eveline GADDIS are buried at the Crossroad Cemetery in Gilmer Co., Ga. I think it may be on the Gilmer County genweb site also. I looked for the Gaddis name in the index.
