Gentlefolk, Just wanted to give you a quick update on the Guidelines Revision Committee. We are currently working on a CC's Bill of Rights. Most of you have been contacted by the GRC Representative who has been tasked with handling your region. Very few have responded. This is YOUR opportunity to be heard. This is YOUR opportunity to make your wishes known and to make suggestions. Please take advantage of this opportunity. We recently held a vote on a motion to set a deadline for CC Suggestions to the CC's Bill of Rights. That deadline is May 19, 2003. Why are we setting a deadline? To give us an opportunity to put something together to be sent to you for review that it may be on the ballot with the July National Elections. We are currently voting on a motion to post your suggestions as catgorized by TOPIC, not by region and without your name being attached. We feel this is important because many of you might fear some retaliation for your opinions. While those fears are most assuredly unfounded, the simple truth is they are very real to those who have them.
