To be fair at this point you have to consider that most of those who have legitimate complaints are not privy to this list and can not respond to much of what is being said. I would say if you want to be fair, resub all the dismissed CC's and ASC so that they can answer some of your "responses". Most of us using this list and viewing the "defenses" have no complaint with Tim and some could care less if people are dismissed for no reason because it doesn't effect them and they do not want to be involved. We have tried in many ways to follow correct procedure in the guidelines and I can tell you that I am one who many times have voiced my complaints to the SC and am sick and tired of no responses so I will indeed go where I can have my voice/complaints heard. The point is the GaGenWeb is hurting and the reason it is hurting is that we have ignorantly set up a system in where one person has absolute power and absolute power breeds corruption. The only thing that will ever heal the GaGenWeb is to change the guidelines and give the CC's back more of their voice. Elections are vital, we need that as we do not need an SC who can just remain in a position of power and set their own "cliche" up and never have to answer to anyone. We tried to push for a change to these guidelines and that was treated as a joke by the RC's and understandbly considering the SC with total power is the chairman of the GAGenweb council. We have tried many avenues including discussion and however each of you feel, you know that our voice gets repeatedly shut down on the GaGenWeb list. I'll have to say I've always thought that this list was for any discussion pertaining to the CC's and the GAGenweb and these complaints, guidelines, petitions are all part of that. Removing and moderating people is just another sign of that ABSOLUTE POWER that most of us realize has got to end. Change for the better is needed and we will do all that we can to see that it occurs. None of us want to see all of this in our emails considering how much we have to deal with already but as a CC you owe it to all of us and all contributors to be aware of what is happening in this project. This policy of "don't say anything", "it's not my problem", "I don't want to be involved", needs to stop. We are all volunteers and regardless of how well things are going with my counties it's time we realize that if even one contributor is ignored, if even one CC is dismissed unjustifiably then we need to pay attention and work for changes.
