    3. I agree that all rules should be applied equally or not at all. We all work within those rules to the best of our abilities. Some of us are better at it than others. I don't claim to be real swift at html, but I do try, and am more than happy to correct errors. I generally write back and thank people for the help. I guess what distresses me most here is that we are not perfect. None of us. Most CC's will correct mistakes brought to their attention willingly. But we can't be perfect all the time, we all have our imperfections. Maybe what we need to realize here is that we need to work together for this project and also realize those imperfections, working together rather than arguing amongst ourselves. We need to help one another, as we all excel in different areas Let's foster teamwork here and make the GAGenWeb all that it can be. Just my humble opinion. 3. Jan is right and most of us have always called upon one another to check our pages as one can stare at something for an hour and still miss errors and omissions that someone else can catch. We need to all get back to our pages. As Brenda said we did not have this type of problems before. There was nothing that we could not solve and then get back to work. But there seems to be the same ones who pick, pick and pick. so yes, we speak out, we are not accustomed to so many who are trying to run the project like they are accustomed to running their businesses or taking part in political and governmental jobs. We are just family historians and do not need nor want this constant battering of the other CCs. If it isn't Margie then it is Tim that some of you are constantly trying to bait for an argument or debate or whatever you call it. And I for one don't think the bickering will stop even if you voted Tim out of office. This project is near and dear to some of our hearts. There are some old timers that you never hear from but they are here reading every note. They are busy with their pages and could care less about politics and then there are some of us who will speak out when we feel the project is being threatened and harm is being done to some of those who have helped build this project up. Tim and Margie both have been here a long time, since the beginning of the GAGenWeb Project and each of them have helped it to grow. Most of us have quietly changed our pages as logos changed, requirements changed and not fought it. We worked together to help one another there was very little problems such as there is now. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jan Cortez" <cristian@netonecom.net> To: <GAGEN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, March 25, 2003 8:29 PM Subject: Re: [GAGEN] The Petition and Rebuttal (Groundwork) > I agree that all rules should be applied equally or not at all.
