I received hateful email from a cc - told Tim and blocked them from sending me any additional emails. Of course, I didn't have to trace the sender as they didn't hide their addresses. Nor did I waste my time as they did not write anything that would warrant their ISP to take action against them. The letters were not threatening - just showed the true colors of very sad and tottering individuals. Such a shame. 99.99% (the writers of said emails being the exception) of the people whom I have met via genealogy are wonderful souls. Sometimes we disagree on various and sundry topics, but agree to disagree. My only experience with this dark side was a real eye opener and only affirmed my belief that the actions of those who need to attack others who simply disagree with them are unnecessary and puerile. Quite the gang mentality and one I want no part of.
