I want to congratulate these fine women. I would like to say that these are the finest women I have ever had the privilege to know and work with. They certainly deserve to be recognized by Rootsweb. They are untiring in their efforts to help others. The resources they have at in their home libraries rival some libraries. Millie, Davine and Guelda are tireless in their efforts to do look ups, visit the library and courthouses in the area to help researchers. They transcribed every cemetery in Macon County Georgia and the marriage records. Davnie has submitted thousands of obits and continues transcribing more. These women are well known and respected for their diligence and dedication to genealogy. Lt. Col. Guelda Hay and Millie Stewart were instrumental in getting They Tarried in Taylor county published. We work as a team, I transcribe newspapers and manage the web page. Millie, Davine and Guelda are the backbone with all their knowledge and work they have done for many years. They know every back road in the area and have linked the obits to where the person is buried and their family history. Thank you to an outstanding group of women!!! I am humbled in the shadow of greatness in these women. Margie Daniels Macon County Georgia CC --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
