    3. Hi Richard, That sounds fine too but what if the submitter has requested to the CC that it not be linked? 3. Kim, You present an interesting conundrum. Honestly, as an Archives person, if I found that someone had donated something to the Archives and had requested that a CC not link to it, I would be tempted to pull the plug. My view is that we should work in concert with the Archives, not in competition. The Archives were originally established to be a repository of materials in conjunction with the county pages. I treat the Archives as a secondary repository or material - call it a second place to store data in case one copy becomes corrupted or is lost in the shuffle between CC's or whatever, not as a place to submit things instead of the county pages. If someone donates materials to the Archives, they are freely donating or loaning that material to the Project as a whole. If they do not wish it to be used by or linked to from the county sites, then perhaps they need to keep the material and publish it or do whatever it is they wish to do with it. However, if it is donated to the Project, then it should and must be donated with no strings attached or not donated at all. I am sure that I have run afoul of the Archives people, and I do not mean to. However, I will stand corrected wherever I need to be.
