    3. To all those who were offended by Linda's note (and I feel certain she did not mean to offend anyone) and since Linda is not on this GAGenWeb list, may I express my own personal apology. Margie, Jan, Gloria, and Tim --- I always welcome your input. If there is a specific event which you are referring to, please write me privately. I apologize to the entire CC list for adding more mail to your mail boxes. E-mail can sometimes be misunderstood, and I never want to appear rude to any individuals. We're all part of the GAGenWeb team, and I respect every one of you! Virginia Crilley

    1. [GAGEN] Need apology from Linda
    2. Margie
    3. Virgina, In all due respect Linda needs to send her apology to the list and Tim can forward it. I would not want you speaking for Linda and assuming what she may be thinking. You know what happens when you assume. Another question is that Linda Lewis applied for the trademark for the USGENWEB archives in her name, do you know if she got it? I also wondered why she applied for it in her individual name and not the project name. Do you happen to know who holds the trademark for the census project? I understand it was once part of the USGENWEB project but someone scooped the trademark and now I think if I read the statement correctly that that project does not belong to the USGENWEB project. These are some of the concerns that I have about the archives. Hope someone can explain this. 3. Margie, with all due respect, you asked that this sort of discussion be taken to GALINA. Why, then, do you continue to post complaints and such on this list? Linda Lewis is not a member of this list - why bother everyone with gripes about her, when she will not even see them?
