    3. To all members of the list I will try not to take up to much of your time. Most of the people on this list feel the same as me that this list takes up way to much of my time. I just had a few comments, points, etc to bring up that have been bothering me for awhile now. I usually keep my mouth shut and try to ignore this, but I cannot any longer. 1. I find it strange and interesting that 2 people resigned this week and both were on moderate (when did this happen and why). I can understand why they left the project, but I don't understand what they did to cause them to be moderated. 2. Jimmy was terminated very abruptly today, what in a matter of hours of his publication. I find this very interesting that someone is removed so quickly. (I do understand that according to the guidelines that the SC can do this because he appointed Jimmy, but I believe this must change, please include that in the revision committee for future looking into * I would like to know what Jimmy did that put him on moderate? Was it because he emailed Tim, Margie and Brenda specifically and asked them to resign? * I agree with Richard that before anyone gets terminated and everyone goes off the deep end, that these allegations should be answered, we have a right to know. NOT with the usual bickering but with actual proof, etc. From Tim, Margie and Brenda, not the other cheerleaders that go with this group. * I think Jimmy's presentation was very convincing but since I don't know the other side, I cannot say for sure. I, along with many others are curiously waiting to see what will be said by Tim, Margie and Brenda 3. I have never had a problem with Tim in the past. I did not vote only because I had actually forgotten to vote. I was undecided because since most of the issues brought up were about things that happened before I joined the project and mostly I was seeing only Tim's side of the story anyway 4. I find it interesting that ever since I joined this project, it seems to be that the same 20 or so people are always bickering back and forth. It is getting really old. The same group, fight back and forth over everything in here. Even to go as far as to tear into Joy Fisher for making a remark that had nothing to do with a threat or negativity but telling it like it was. I am one of the people who are about to walk just because I am just so sick and tired of this. 5. I am also getting really tired of certain individuals brow beating us cc's because we choose not to vote, or we don't get involved. Most of us are happy to work on our counties and get the job we came here to do, done. It seems to me that the only people who are yelling about the injustice of the guidelines, etc are the same ones that are always causing problems on this list. YES, there need to be some changes to the guidelines, but this should be worked out in a much better manner than it has been. * It is constantly being said that if we don't vote we can't complain, well news to you honey, I didn't vote and I'm NOT complaining. * There are some who have brought up issues that should be addressed, but instead of this being done, the same 20 people jump in and start a war back and forth about it. I suspect that this may get me moderated but I frankly do give a care. I have other more important and pressing matters in life, than to worry about the petty trials of the certain people on this list. I can almost guarantee that most of those 20 people will have something to say about my note here, validating my point. I have a husband that was laid off two weeks ago, and I have a baby due in four weeks. I am not even sure that I will be able to continue with the project just because the time constraints that this will bring. I am planning to stick it out but not if this constant childish behavior does not end. I get enough of this political mumbo jumbo from work and daily life, I don't need or want it here. Thank you for reading and I would appreciate Tim's answer to the questions about Jimmy's allegations. I DO NOT WANT a flurry of emails to this list about my email. I only want the actual parties to respond. I can care less what anyone else has to say about what is happening or what my email contains. I DO NOT WANT any private emails either because that only causes problems too. thanks Christine http://www.rootsweb.com/~gacalhou

    3. To the best of my knowledge, there is no one currently on a moderated status on the list. Tim has provided me with the password for the list and has, essentially, appointed me moderator for the time-being. For the duration of this appointment, I can assure you that *NO ONE* will be placed on a moderated status because of their opinions or because what they have to say differs from the positions taken by those in a position to moderate. Of course, the regular rules of decorum (including not flaming and the prohibition of the use of vulgar language) must be followed. But, please rest assured that you will NOT be placed on a moderated status because *I* disagree with your opinions (of course, if you say I am ugly and my wife dresses me funny, well, then, you might find yourself moderated without regard to the fact that you have stated a truth that I agree with <maniacal grin>). So, within reason, let's chat. Before we have any further discussion of the recent round of accusations, I would like for the accused to have the opportunity to make their statements and then we can decide how exactly to proceed. I take these allegations very seriously and I share in the concerns that have been expressed to me privately and those set forth on the list. However, part of being above-board and even-handed requires that we hear (read!) both sides. Thank you, Richard --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
