I'm Arlene Brookens Woody, born and raised in Tacoma Washington, and currently living in Georgia. I have a grown son, two toy poodles - Mia and Tyson, and an African Grey parrot - Louie. I enjoy genealogy, and when there's time, working in my yard. I've been in the equipment leasing industry for 20+ years and decided to change careers 4 years ago. I went back to school for web/ business programming. Currently, I'm with an equipment leasing company in the IT department. My brick wall are the parents of William Brookins, who was supposedly born in Rochester NY in 1824. He served in the Mexican American war and the Civil War, and loved to travel. William's pension file was a bounty of information, but still haven't been able to find his parents.
