What a WONDERFUL old photo...it looks like every photo I've ever seen of 'Civil War' Veterans. Can't tell for sure, but it 'looks like' a couple of them are wearing some sort of medal. I tried to enlarge it in Paint Shop Pro, to see if it is a Southern Cross, but it blurs out too much to say for sure at this resolution. Could be a Confederate Veteran's Reunion. "UCV" If that is what it is, you might find some information as to when these Reunions were held in the area, and maybe even who attended. Can't wait to hear what you discover on this one.
