    3. Gaila, I know what you mean! I long to know all the counties in Georgia my ancestors lived in before moving into North Florida. I know from the Census here in Florida, that a number of the children were born in Georgia...but don't know the counties yet. Then, I DO know that my ggg-grandfather George Washington DRIVER was born in Screven County in 1820, according to his military papers. Haven't found much on Screven Co. His son, my gg-grandfather was born in Ware County around 1850, don't have any idea where they were in-between these years [1820-1850]. My 4th great-grandfather, Jacob DRIVER, the father of George above, was born in SC, I believe it is my Jacob DRIVER listed on the 1850 Mortality Schedule for Gwinnett County, but from what I've seen most of the data for Gwinnett is owned by the Historical Society. So therefore, either out of price range, or out of print. Sorry, I am thankful for the work of historical society groups, but sure does hamper getting data to everyone. Sharon (DRIVER) Wright Lets do some genealogy! Anyone have any leads on Houston County that I can track down? Gaila Houston County, Georgia
