There are no phantom county coordinators to my knowledge in GAGenWeb. As Jimmy well knows the RCs do most of the selection of CCs for their region, asking on occasion if any of the rest of us have heard of so and so and if so what other sites they coordinate. If they coordinate elsewhere that does bear on whether or not they get a site in GAGenWeb for if their sites elsewhere show problems do we really need them here? When the RCs find someone to coordinate x county they send the CC's name and email address to me requesting that I add them to the mailing list and the county table. I trust my RCs and to date have seen no reason to question them as to whether or not they are real persons - for I've certainly had no bounces that haven't been corrected for any of the new CCs. Since I know of no county coordinators that fit this description - 'phantom' the rest of his charge falls apart. I have not participated in any deception of the members of GAGenWeb or the USGenWeb projects by assuming the role of anyone but myself. I host 3 counties in Georgia - which the county table shows. I have recently assisted 3 CCs with their counties. When some CCs leave and either take everything with them or the original site or have their data on their own server or some server other than Rootsweb, we request space from Rootsweb for the new site. After they have the new account, we give them a basic site to work with thus our names may be on the shell site as the designer/creator of the site. We will also upload data for them. As far as I know that's not a crime. >Tim, Brenda, and Margie were not alone in this act of voter fraud as >there are other unindicted co-conspirators. Since there was no conspiracy - there can not be any co-conspirators. <snip> >In addition, the IP addresses of the Tim, Margie, and Brenda (and her >husband Chucks account) were used to update the counties of these >phantom CCs. Burke County - where the former CC said we could have the data from her Geocities site - and we acquired space and as I've got the data have put it on the new account for the current CC to use. Glynn County - where the CC didn't know HTML but subsequently was assisted by Jimmy, I believe, to use Front Page to create her site. I changed some things for her prior to that on the page previously designed by someone else until she could get a handle on things - and her site is very nice. Troup County - When the former CC left - Keith Giddeon he gave the site lock, stock and barrel to the Project. At the time he gave up the county he informed the RC of the fact but could not reach her and shortly after that time she resigned her RC position. Since there was no RC there at the time I removed Keith's name/addy and placed mine there until such time as a CC could be found and removed his design/format for my own. Subsequently a lady who transcribes for me in another state approached me about CCing in Georgia. She joined us in late January but told me that she had a trip already set to go on in February, so I agreed to watch over the site until she returned. She let me know at some time after that that her laptop had been stolen in the airport and that it would be a bit later until she could get a new computer. Still no problem. In the meantime I did show for a time my name/my address on the site and after she joined but was away, her name/my addy since without a computer it would have been impossible for her to answer any queries. Apparently the concept of teamwork eludes some folks - but I have helped others and will continue to do so as the need arises. <snip> >You may see all the detailed information to support these allegations of >voter fraud and deceit at http://www.rootsweb.com/~gaclarke/GA/index.htm Since I don't have a copy of his 'details' handy I'll answer them and you can refer to his 'details'. JE: "We will continue digging and eventually get to the bottom of this" TS: There is no bottom for there is no conspiracy. That the concept of helping others seems to hide itself from some I can certainly understand. JE: "Also notice the spellings of some name..." TS: I have no idea what you are getting at here but there are variations of my family's last name - all on legal records for the same family - Stowell, Stawell, Stowel, Stoel. JE: Complains that some folks that were welcomed didn't respond. TS: I don't respond to every piece of email I get. Perhaps these folks had seen how folks get treated on the list and didn't want to subject themselves to the same treatment. Folks do monitor lists before joining. JE: "Also notice the confusion on which name took over Jackson Co. In the above announcement, Tim names Dru Evans, effective 1/28. Yet on 3/2 he announce (sic) Teri as the new CC, effective 2/19. He announced 2 resignations in that same post, but neglected to mention the resignation of Dru Evans. ...." TS: The only confusion is on JE's part. Dru got sick of being lambasted by a visitor regarding a site she had linked to in the Archives (which I believe CCs are encouraged to do) accusing her of stealing the information. A link is a link. This person seemed incapable of understanding such. After a while she asked the RC if she could work elsewhere. As it was not a resignation as such but rather a transfer, there really was no reason to announce it. Besides I'd been critized for making announcements of changes on the state list, some asking that it not be posted. Announcing or not announcing is not a crime that I'm aware of. Other states sometimes announce such, other times they don't. JE: Rehash of Troup county. "Evidently Tim is willing to do for Charmaine what no one was willing to do for Paulette..." TS: Again nothing could be further from the truth. After Ms. Moon resigned on 12/27, we tried for 3 weeks to work with her to get some one to help her, yet she changed her mind every other email. When she said she had someone to help her that person refused to answer the simple questions of: 'can you build a website and can you upload it?' Therefore that person was never added to the Project and we finally gave up on trying to work with Ms. Moon who rebuffed every effort designed to assist her. JE: "On 2/21 I "inadvertently" got in their way by posting to gagen-l a list of counties available for adoption according to the county selection table. I was raked over the coals by Brenda because I created another mess that has to be dealt with and that it is already being insinuated that Brenda is not doing this above board. Unbeknowst to me was the fact they were in the process of 'filling' the counties, and would have a hard time explaining why they wre continuing to turn down legitimate CC's." TS: The problem was that you stepped out of turn. I had been posting from time to timethe counties available for adoption. You were offering counties that already had someone in the process of deciding whether or not to adopt a county, ie counties that weren't in your region. The 'they' would be the other RCs, just as they/you have done as RCs are supposed to do. As one region, East Central, did not at the time have an RC, Brenda and I were working on that together to find persons to host the sites. Some of these folks were found by reviewing previous requests to adopt, when in fact the counties were already being hosted, but these folks had expressed an interest in those counties via the web-form - not the Keith website. -------------------- Bottom line - No conspiracy. Just trying to do the job of SC to the best of my ability, without deceit, without trying to stack the vote, without crying in my soup had the recall gone the other way. With regards to voter fraud - how one gets that I don't know. I don't know who voted and who didn't - other than myself. I didn't vote for I was not allowed to vote by edict of the NC. If you know who voted - then the trust of the EC is broken - but I don't think it has been. Let's say you discount these folks - and add the other ones and take away some more - will the 'new' math, the 3rd or 4th time around get you to the desired end? Does the AB plan to keep passing motions and if that doesn't work, let's try a new motion, any motion worded some way to 'get Tim'? Have you ever noticed that the same folks are the ones that continually harp on this? I have made mistakes, I will make mistakes - but then so will you. That I do not know everything that goes on everywhere in GAGenWeb is neither a plus or a minus - it's just a fact. The fact is I have no knowledge of any conspiracy, nor have I participated in such an alleged contrivance as JE has charged. If there are any phantom CCs in Georgia I am unaware of them unless you are speaking of sites that are just links to other sites - those that have no data on them? How unsubstantiated allegations can be cause for a finding of 'not in good standing' is also a stretch of the imagination. Some folks see a conspiracy in every shadow but most of them are thankfully either well medicated or in institutions. Since there is no such in Georgia, you'll have to look somewhere else for such.
