    2. I have a quick question. Are the Archives considered a State Special Project or do they come under National? Donna In a message dated 3/22/05 9:29:35 PM Eastern Standard Time, [email protected] writes: << Hi again, Let me once again encourage you to let the committee know what you think about the current proposals. We need your input! Let me mention one topic in particular -- the site requirements. There are several items on the list we've proposed. We talked a bit about making part of them requirements and part of them suggestions but didn't split the list up, waiting for feedback from you. The current proposals may be seen at http://www.rootsweb.com/~gacolqu2/bylaws/proposals.html, or on the Bylaws Message Board (http://www.thegaproject.org/discuss.htm). You'll need to be a registered user to post comments on the message board but everyone can read it. If you want to be registered, just drop me an email and I'll set it up. Thanks, Jacki >>

    3. Donna, Structurally and "legally," the Archives is a USGenWeb Special Project. The GAGenWeb Project has no special projects at this time. However, by virtue of the fact that the Archives is a part of USGenWeb, it also is a part of GAGenWeb. I think we can all agree that we do a tremendous service to researchers if we direct them to this valuable resource.
