    2. i believe that this is something that has been needed for a while now. there have been several areas that are in what I consider a gray area and I can see both sides. The first, allowing the data to be posted to help the researchers, the 2nd, respecting the privacy of the person's whose name is posted. For example, there are a number of obits listed both here at GAGenWeb, in the GAGenWeb Archives, and even on other project sites that list the living spouse, children and even the pallbearers. I need to go over my own site and data to double-check what I have. Having a policy on this will keep GAGenWeb uniform throughout the state and then we won't have to worry about any question as to whether the info we have should or should not be posted. Also, I believe that there should be a new committee. Melody > I am open to discussion on whether or not GAGenWeb should have a privacy > policy. 3. Melody There is no projection for information in public records or newspaper accounts and both of these can contain information on living individuals. a person also submitting query is also displaying and there email address is included in all county list posts to which they reply. I think someone is opening a bag of worms worrying about "privacy" on a genealogical driven website. great grandson of Charles W, RICHTER Sr. and Anne POTTER of Madison, Morgan County,GA A Descendant of Capt James DANIEL and Jane HICKS of Albemarle County, Virginia John R.
