Vivian and All, As with any type of election turn out was poor. "Eligible Voters overall 1770; # of voting members: 484 (27.34463)." 27.34463 - I'm sorry that all of the non-voters didn't have Mrs. Richardson for civics in the 8th grade. She taught me that at 18 I have the right and privilege to vote. It is my job as an American to do so. I have not missed an election since my 18th birthday. I look at the Web project as a privilege and it is my right to vote to take care of our project. BTW, several years back I had the opportunity to thank Mrs. Richardson for teaching about our right and privilege as Americans. She beamed. Her husband told me later that she had always wondered if any of her students ever listened. I assured him we did, because all those kids that I know vote today. So the next time we have an election, think of my sweet Mrs. Richardson and vote because it is your right and privilege to make this project the best it can be.
