I noticed that the east central RC position is vacant. McDuffie Co is within that region so I am especially interested. I would like to apply for the position of RC for east central. I am posting this to the list since all the people who would be involved in the decision are subscribed :) I am the CC of McDuffie Co. I actually live right here in McDuffie Co which gives me a little bit of an edge over those who do not live in this area. I am able to help people easier. My personal research spans McDuffie, Wilkes, Warren, Jefferson, Columbia, Richmond and Lincoln Counties so I have quite a few ties in this area and I am well aquainted with the resources available and what is not available that needs to be! I know that I have not been the CC of McDuffie Co long but I have done a good job bringing little McDuffie Co to life in the genealogical world :) I am the long time list administrator of the WEICHERT, FEIGE, GLAENTZER email lists and the PATTON message board. Some personal info... I am a 40 year old married mom of 5 children. My job background is that of a deputy sheriff and a nurse (weird combo I know!) I currently work part time in the McDuffie County Hospital in the ER. I have been doing genealogical research for 12 years. All of my research is in the south with the exception of my mother's side which is in Germany. If there are any questions I can answer, let me know. I will be away for a while. I can check email, but may not be able to send, won't know until I get there. Looking at some property. Donna
Jacksonville is Duval County. Brevard County is Titusville - Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral. That is the same reason I joined AHGP. I tried and tried to donate material only to be ignored so I started my own site on AHGP that is growing quite nicely. And conversely, the sites that do display the proper logos et al and that are linked from "The County Table" should be sites with quality information that is pertinent to the USGenWeb/GAGenWeb Project.

I decided to go back and click and got http://www.rootsweb.com/~gacrawfo/ Interesting message isn't it? For once I have to agree a little with Margie. I have records that I don't want to donate permanently either. If I change my title to Records Manager and Webmaster and take off some of the required links, can I still stay? Donna

No, what I saw was where Brenda Webb answered you and copied me in case you had meant me instead of her. The one you said she didn't send. That stack of emails following and all the arrangements for me to help her, did not indicate she was gone. And they were all after that. Donna

Exactly, that's why the link should have been changed to http://www.rootsweb.com/~gadawson/gagen/ and after I gave up Gordon County and asked on this list for the link to be changed to the new page, SOME RC told me they probably weren't ready and it had been up how many days? and my logos gone how long? and this page doesn't have any logos http://www.rootsweb.com/~gacrawfo/gacrawford.htm therefore it has been abandoned. Right? Donna
