There is nothing in the national bylaws to require local coordinators to give snail mail addresses or telephone numbers to the state or regional coordinators. I have a few, but do not require that they be given. In my few months as state coordinator, there have been many times I have *wished* for an alternative way to get in touch. When a coordinator goes missing, it is very time consuming to try and track him/her down. Vivian, I must have short term memory loss, but I can't remember if we ever supplied our snail mail addresses and phone numbers to the interim administrators for GAGenWeb? I don't think that's been a policy of any state I've been involved with, but maybe it should be supplied privately to the State and Regional Coordinators? The site is maintained by Linda Hallman and includes pictures and historical information, etc. An excellent and informative web site. The USGenWeb Bylaws Revision Committee has completed its work. The proposed six new amendments can be found here: http://home.mchsi.com/~sagitta56/amendments.htm The National Coordinator/Advisory Board has not yet set a date for the proposal to go to the membership. Vivian
